For Sale TRD converted with 2.0L engine TRD 812 - WXG 440 A reluctant sale of my 1947 Roadster. This chassis was built in 1947 originally with an 1800cc engine. It was delivered to a client in Sweden, first registered on 30 June 1947 and only returned to the UK in 2015. At some stage in Sweden a 2 litre TR4 engine was fitted but retained the 3 speed gearbox.I have virtually a full service history and names of previous owners. The speedo is in kph as this is obviously how they operated in Sweden. |

For Sale TRD converted with 2.0L engine TRD 812 - WXG 440 A reluctant sale of my 1947 Roadster. As an 1800 she was sent out to Sweden where at some stage the engine was changed to a TR4 2 litre, but it has retained the 3 gear column change. She was brought back to the UK in 2016 and I bought her in July of that year. I'm not sure if it is in the original colour which is a fetching steel grey. Upholstery is red and the hood was probably black originally but has faded to grey. The speedo is in kph as this is obviously how they operated in Sweden. |
